This is my entry for the 'Beginnings' challenge at at Intermediate level

I am what I am, and that's who I want to be
The years have added layers of non-me
Stripped back to the truth - what lies in wait?
The me I don't know, but truly anticipate
A new beginning, but back to the start
Finding the real me.... right from the heart.
