CommentsThanks for a VERY truthful and VERY correct critique. I totally understand there was WAY too much blurring. I have it backed up as a PSD file and will definitely go back one day to correct things when I fully understand what Im doing! And time permitting....
3 Stars is extremely generous in my opinion, but more importantly I genuinely appreciate HONEST critique good or bad. Thanks for taking the time. I sooo appreciate the other talented artists here, and with more practice you'll see the improvement. Thanks again Chris |
Firstly, I love your choice of stock - it all goes together very well.
You have done very well with the ageing effect in general - the big point here is, if you take a look at old photos, they do not blur with age. Admittedly photos taken back then would be nowhere near as sharp as those taken using today's cameras, but I think there is a little too much blurring - not sure if it is possible/easy to reduce the blurring at this stage.
Over all, a very, very good manip for being so new to it.
I am sure I have missed some points, but I am not an expert manipulator myself - so I am only really critiquing the points I can see - hope you find this helpful
