This is my entry for the 'Hidden in Plain Sight' challenge at 
The idea behind this is the modern 'trend' of hoodies and the fantasy hooded characters such as the Grim Reaper and fantasy witches, princesses, etc coming together. In this interpretation, the modern guy has no idea the fantasy characters are behind him and watching him - because his hoodie is preventing him from seeing them - they are the ones 'hidden in plain sight' here.
I would like to give a shout out to the stock providers - I have used some amazingly outstanding FREE stock here, and I am full of gratitude and admiration for them.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactI was first of all attracted to this artwork by the stunning colour palette, but then I looked deeper and started to feel the story told by the characters.
The artist wanted to portray the fact that hoods and hoodies not only hide your appearance, they can also hide the world as it happens around you. The guy is walking in the distance, head down, his life is hard, but he has NO clue that it could all be over in an eyeblink!
The Grim Reaper is standing by, ready to do his job at the given time, but the lady in red is ALSO standing by, ready to step into the scene and rewrite it if she needs to. Her crow is on alert, but he has already done his job as messenger and sounded the alert.
This is a lovely piece of artwork, well worked and thought out. Eyecatching and telling the story as it flows. My only slight niggle with it is that I would like to see more of that naked tree which is growing towards the sun, maybe the lady in red could have been offset slightly without it affecting her 3D style of readiness.
